Ways to
Visit Us

There are several ways you can spend time with us at House of Mindfulness.

Weekend Mindfulness

Our Weekend Mindfulness Retreat is a 2-4 day guided experience designed to help you reconnect, slow down, and learn simple ways to live with less stress. Through Zen-based mindfulness meditation, participants are introduced to practices that are easy to understand, universal, and deeply practical for everyday life. The retreat is complemented by gentle, holistic approaches to support both body and mind, all set in a peaceful jungle environment near Gunung Leuser. This retreat is held once a month with limited spaces, creating an intimate and supportive atmosphere for learning and reflection. For upcoming dates and details, please visit our Instagram page.

Custom Retreats

Looking to come at a different time than our scheduled retreats? Wondering if you can visit on your own, or with a small group of friends? Because our space is simple and flexible, it’s sometimes possible to arrange a stay outside of our regular program. Group size, timing, and length can be adapted depending on availability and what feels realistic for the space. We’re open to exploring what works best for you—whether you want to learn the basics of mindfulness, want to enrich your practice or looking for a more personalized experience. Feel free to reach out and ask—we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Stay With Us

Outside of retreat periods, you are welcome to stay with us and experience the peaceful rhythm of life at House of Mindfulness. This is an opportunity to spend time in a quiet jungle setting, whether for personal reflection, independent meditation practice, or simply to rest and reconnect with nature. Our facilities are simple and designed to support a mindful, grounded lifestyle. It’s an ideal space for those looking to step away from daily distractions and enjoy a slower, more intentional way of living. Contact us for prices and more info.

Volunteering (Live Mindfully)

Interested in learning to embody the teachings through a longer commitment? Join our small community and experience mindful living through volunteering. By contributing around 5 hours per day—supporting daily activities, shared tasks, or ongoing projects—you become part of the life of the center. In return, you’ll have time and space for meditation, personal growth, and connection with others in a calm, supportive environment. Accommodation and meals are provided, and no prior experience is required. We welcome people from all backgrounds who are open to simple living and meaningful contribution. Suggested stays are around 3 months, but flexibility is possible—just get in touch to learn more.
